My textile work focuses on storytelling, blending my illustration practice with needlework. Working with a combination of paint, pencil and thread, I frequently use vintage substrates as a base. The decision to do so is partially based on a desire to incorporate sustainability into my work, but also to continue the narrative of materials that would otherwise be forgotten or discarded.
