Illustration Friday - Help

Illustration Friday - help. Watercolor, pencil, and bristol board. My sisters and I as kids was the inspiration - right down to the skinny, skinny legs...

*Raquel's illustrations - The collages are really clever

*New covers for "Little House on the Prairie" (via Fuse #8)? We had to write letters to famous people in 2nd grade and I wrote one to Garth Williams. Maybe that's why I'm partial to the old ones...

Off to go finish Christmas knitting and eat pumpkin ice cream.

Ekaterina

I have an old Russian textbook that I've been using for drawings lately. I sketch a rough area of where I want the character to be, gesso, then go back in and use colored pencils over that.

*Ghostly Ruins - America's Forgoten Architecture - Great photography of abandoned or forgotten places throughout the US with the stories behind them

Illustration Friday - Might

I had to look up the rhyme because I couldn't remember it:

"Star light, star bright.
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight."
