Slightly-Annual Giveaway In Progress

Time for a giveaway!
It's Thanksgiving here in a few weeks and in a spirit of gratitude, I'd like to say thanks to all the swell folks who read this.
And what am I giving away? Odds and ends, this and that, everything but the kitchen sink basically. Definitely a silkscreen, some ACEO sized prints, vintage paper, et cetera, et cetera.
Here's the details:
1) To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment. Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to let me know something you really, really, really like. Maybe it's your favorite recipe. Or an album you think everyone on the planet should listen to. Or the book that kept you up reading until the wee hours of the morning. Knock yourself out.
2) I'll take entries up until 11:59 PM Sunday November 16 (EST).
3) No geographic restrictions; I'll mail both stateside and abroad.
4) The winning entry will be chosen Monday November 17 using the random number generator over here. I learned my lesson last year; no more cutting up teeny tiny pieces of paper.
5) I'll announce the winner Monday evening. Cross your fingers.
Ready. Set. Go.

This is an awesome recipe for Long Island Green Tea if you're into caffeinated alcohol...
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c hot water
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 750 ml bottle of sake
10 green tea bags
2/3 c lemon vodka
2/3 cup premium gin'
ice cubes
grenadine
dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup hot water in med bowl. Stir in lemon juice (I'd use splenda instead of sugar) chill submerge sake bottle in large bowl of hot water for 15 mins and pour sake into another med bowl, add tea bags and steep for 40 mins. strain sake mixture into pitcher, stir in lemon mix, vodka and gin. fill 4 tall glasses with ice, pour sake-tea mix over. pour 1 teaspoon grenadine into each glass and serve.
Great for staying awake but slightly buzzed after Turkey coma!
i really really like..... driving alone on a basically deserted road in the country and singing SO VERY LOUD as i drive. preferably during the fall/spring/summer. preferably a particular stretch of road in maine near my home. and (once again) preferably singing songs by jenny lewis.
Brace yourself...this one's corny, but: whenever the clock hits 11:11, whether a.m. or p.m., my husband and I "make a wish". SO, today, it being November 11, (11/11), I called him at 11:11 and left a voicemail saying "make a wish". When he got home from work today he told me he'd been in a meeting when I called so he wasn't near a phone, but that he'd looked at his watch and thought of me and made a wish. I just LOVE that about him. So, my fave thing today would be: 11/11.
My latest obsession is Google Reader!! It can host all the websites and blogs you read in one place. Also you have the option to organize your daily reads by catagory, mark your favorites and share articles with your fellow google reader friends! Google Reader keeps me up every night...
I really, really, really like the smell of this huge weed that grows climbing along our fence. It has pink flowers which ooze a fog of sweet aroma. Mmmmm.
How nice of you to offer a giveaway - thank you for the opportunity. Well, I guess my latest love would be listening to Paloma Faith's music. When I first heard her music, it reminded me of Duffy, but she has her own style when you listen to the entire album. Listen to the lyrics! Her album is titled, Do you want the Truth or something beautiful? - I like to say I want both... :P
Hurray for giveaways! One of my most recent likes is an online show called 'Working Class Foodies.' It's a brother-sister duo, who cook for under $8 per person and they focus on local ingredients. It's put out by the same network who makes Threadbanger. It's great! Here's a link: http://www.hungrynation.tv/wcfoodies
I like discovering people through internet just like I found your blog. Maybe we would never meet with each other in our lives, but I know you from your blog. This is miracle...
A few of my likes:
Music: Joanna Newsom,Julie Doiron,
Books: Just read Elizabeth Berg again, love her writing,The Moomintroll comic strip books,
and gotta love crisp, Autumn days like today, where everything is frosty and clear :)
A picture book recommendation:
Little Hoot by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Jen Corace - A funny picture book about an owl who wants to go to bed like all his friends, but because he's an owl, his parents make him stay up late and play. Super fun.
My great-great aunt made this wonderful crazy quilt out of all sorts of odd fabrics like velvet and men's neckties. It has the oddest embroidery including flowers and unusual stitching. I've loved it ever since I was a small child. It is like the ultimate touch and feel/I-spy - truly a feast for the senses. My mom currently cares for it. Someday maybe she'll gift it to me!
I live in the Pacific Northwest. It is cloudy and grey and yucky outside for months at a time. Curling up with a good book and a hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) in front of a fire is what I love to do.
I love it when I find a blog that talks about great books to read! One of the books I found was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer; Annie Barrows. I have enjoyed this book so much that I didn't want it to end.
The Forest of Hands and Teeth
It's a zombie book that someone handed me recently that is fantastic.
I'd love to be entered :)
My blog is:

(I may not follow you on here, but I've had you bookmarked for ages!!!)
These are some things I really like:
the faded, rose-tinted, and melancholy photos collected on this blog- http://misswallflower.tumblr.com,
The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznik,
This particular photo of Bern, Switzerland: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33502065@N04/3401891173/sizes/o/
and Katie Melua's song "Nine Million Bicycles."
And of course, your artwork is some of the loveliest!
Oh, what fun! Giveaways are always so exciting, even if I never win. I love reading all the comments, and I'll check out some of the books/music suggested.
I love internet radio. My favorite station is www.FolkAlley.com : all folk music, all the time, no commercials! I've found so many great artists there, that I never would have found other wise: The Wailin' Jennies, Big Leg Emma, Bill Jones... I could go on forever! Check it out.
i really, really, really love when my 21-month-old instigates a round of "simon says"...he's really good at it too. i also really love your artwork and would be honored to be entered in your give-away :)
Thank you for the giveaway :)
As for things I like, right now I'm into books for children and young adults, and though I'm none any more I think Joseph Helgerson's Horns & Wrinkles is a really good one. And I love the little illustrations by Nicoletta Ceccoli. And if you like her style, you might find The Tear Thief by Carol Ann Duffy quite beautiful.
Right now it's my crock pot. It feels so cozy and homey having a made dish waiting for me when I get home.
Right now it's a lot of roasts. With mashed potatoes or baked sweet potatoes on the side. With loads of butter.
Not healthy but warms me up.
As I was feeling slightly sad the other day, my feet took me to a flea market as an attempt to cheer me up a bit. Wandering between the shelves I suddenly saw the most adorable little... cup? Pot? Bowl? I wasn't sure wat it was, but it had four sturdy legs and it's big brown ears were hanging above it's snout. The expression on it's face was as sad as my mood so I took it home with me and named it Augusto. That's how he found new life's purpose carrying fruits on his back and I got my smile back. I like my Augusto very much!

You know I love your work!!!!!
i really really really love big toddler kisses when my 2 year old son grabs my face in his hands and plants one smack on my nose making a big 'mmmmmmm' sound like it was the biggest lovliest connection ever! i never want to forget these moments...
oh, i love this giveaway.
one album i would comment to is She & Him - Volume One. It is like the something old, something new, and something blue.. A love album <3 very cute and I would love to have one of the songs played as a wedding.
I really like reading aloud to children....nothing else like it.
Yikes! it's nearly the 16th! can't miss out on this opportunity. I love your drawings and ramblings and craftiness.
i discovered the Great Lake Swimmers recently and still say Wailin Jenny's is a great group to listen to.
Also, never underestimate the power of a crazy cake..or is it wacky cake? i get the names mixed up. but it's a cake that just uses what's in your pantry: flour, sugar, baking soda, vinegar, oil, water, vanilla and cocoa. okay, and water, but if you have the rest, you should have water too. it's never failed me and is moist and yummy and vegan to boot.
i love making easy apple crisp this time of year! Simply put 2 cans of canned spiced apple pie filling in a 9x12 baker, sprinkle a yellow cakes mix, 1 cup of quick oats, 1 cup of pecans over the top, then drizzle melted butter over the top lightly and bake for 30 minutes. Easy and oh so warming. i just found your blog not too long ago and I'm just adoring it! thanks for all your inspiring work that you share with us!
How nice of you to do a giveaway! Of course I'd love to win something lovely! So for my contribution: these brownies are the best brownies. Really. Just the best. http://sundaynitedinner.com/best-cocoa-brownies/
oooh! a giveaway-- how fun.
right now I really really love this recipe for non-anchovied ceasar salad dressing, thanks to my friend Becca:
1/2 cup EVOO
about 2 tablespoons lemon juice
about 16 shakes Worchestershire sauce
2-3 cloves minced garlic (or more!)
two small squirts mustard
s&p to taste (a lot)
parm cheese
2-4 heads of romaine lettuce
mix the dressing in large bowl, wash/dry/tear lettuce, add cheese, toss, EAT!!!
What a marvelous giveaway! I'm so glad I read this post just in time!
I absolutely love getting up late and having a leisurely breakfast of hot tea and spiced bread. It makes my whole day so perfect - just starting it off that way.

Thanks for posting all the time.
I like the internet... it's a virtual A.D.D. wonderland.
I really really like having a baby tucked in my arms - I spent the day with my friend and her 6 week old son and it was a blissful afternoon.
